Native grasses and flowers have
become more popular with the home gardener interested in the environment. Many native plants have strikingly varied foliage
and flowers which will provide great seasonal interest. Long after the blooms are gone the unique shapes and foliage of
these plants can be a focal point of your garden well into the winter season. These plants will attract wildlife,
birds and butterflies to your garden throughout the year.
We carry
a large number of varieties of native prairie and woodland flowers and grasses and promote their use in landscape designs for the home gardener. Our plants are started in our greenhouse using
seed from sources in the Upper Midwest. They are sold either as one or two year old plants in deep 4 inch
(quart) pots. All of our native plants are hardy to zone 4 and most are hardy to zone 3.
